Venk Reddy

Portfolio Manager & Chief Investment Officer

Venk founded Zeo in 2009. Prior to Zeo, he was a co-founder of Laurel Ridge Asset Management, a $400m multi-strategy hedge fund, where he managed the credit, distressed and event-driven portfolios. In that role, Venk specialized in asset valuation and identifying opportunities at the intersection of quantitative and fundamental analysis. In addition to his portfolio and investment committee responsibilities, he managed both the credit and technology teams and built the infrastructure underlying the fund’s scalable risk and analysis systems. Previously, Venk structured derivative products and was head of delta-one trading as a portfolio manager within Bank of America’s Equity Financial Products group (EFP). As one of the first traders hired, he was integrally involved in growing EFP from a startup operation to a business employing 215 people with annual revenues over $700m. Venk also managed investments in event-driven situations, convertible instruments and options at Pine River Capital Management and HBK Investments, where he started his career. Venk earned a BA in Computer Science with Honors from Harvard University. He currently serves as a trustee for the Katherine Delmar Burke School with roles on the finance, audit and technology committees.

Director Investor Relations

Paige joined Zeo in 2014 and manages business development, sales, client service and marketing. She joined Zeo from Fintan Partners, a credit-focused hedge fund platform, where she was on the institutional investor service team. Prior to Fintan, she was Vice President and Manager of investor relations at private equity firm, Blum Capital Partners. Before moving to San Francisco, she lived in New York and was Vice President and Manager of client service at Advent Capital Management, a convertible bond manager with long-only, closed-end mutual funds and hedged strategies. She started her career at Q Investments, a Texas-based multi-strategy hedge fund. She earned a BS in Communications Studies and a minor in Business Administration from Texas Christian University where she was a Chancellor Scholar and graduated magna cum laude. She served as the Education Chair of Northern California 100 Women in Finance for six years and is currently on the Selection Advisory Council for GreenLight Fund.

Marcus Moore, CPA

Senior Credit Analyst

Marcus joined Zeo in 2019 from Wells Fargo Bank, where he worked for 14 years as an Analyst within the Investment Portfolio. He was responsible for identifying investment opportunities within the retail, consumer and gaming sectors across various asset classes including high yield bonds, leveraged loans and structured products. Prior to working at Wells Fargo, Marcus worked at Edison Mission Energy as an analyst with responsibilities in forecasting and financial planning. He started his career at Hamilton Resources, Procter and Gamble and Goldman Sachs. A native of Capital Heights, MD, he earned a BS in Accounting from Morgan State University in Baltimore, MD and an MBA from the Anderson School at UCLA.

Blair Brannan

Sales and Marketing Associate

Blair joined Zeo in 2019 where he assists across sales, client service and marketing. He focuses on building prospective client relationships and elevating the firm’s value proposition across independent financial advisors. Prior to joining Zeo, he held positions at Charles Schwab, New England Financial and Hart Financial Group. Blair earned a BA in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin.

Seth Karpel

Trade Operations

Seth joined Zeo in 2018. He works with the investment team to optimize Zeo’s operational, trading and portfolio management infrastructures and processes through technologically-driven solutions. Seth earned a BA in Mathematics with High Distinction along with a second major in Computer Science and minor in Ancient Studies from Washington University in St. Louis, where he graduated cum laude.

Idil Uralli

Business Operations Manager

Idil joined the team in 2011 where she manages the business operations, design and marketing communications for Zeo. Prior to Zeo, she’s worked in the financial industry since 2004 as office manager and executive assistant for Orchid Asia Management and Joost Enterprises Corporation. She honed her graphic design and HR operational skills at DesignMind, a software company based in San Francisco. Idil started her career at Wells Fargo and later moved to Time Inc., working for Fortune and Time Magazine, respectively. She earned a BA in Psychology and Art History from the University of California, Santa Cruz and continued her education at the University of California, Berkeley Extension program in Graphic Design.
